The Deli Gallery is a New York City gallery which opened a second location in the Roma Norte neighborhood in 2023. Well-known for their White Street, Tribeca location, the Mexico City space allowed the gallery to significantly expand not just exhibitions, but the kind of service they’d long offered in NYC, too.

The Mexico City gallery boasts two complete floors and about 335 square meters of exhibition space. The building dates from the early 20th century. The Taller de Arquitectura Cero redesigned and rehabilitated the building prior to the initial opening of the gallery.

Contemporary art on offer ranges from the sleek to the little known. The New York space gained something of a reputation showing lesser-known Latin American artists. But as is so often the case, calling it a gallery of Latin American art would not do it justice. Deli Gallery has a history of smart, gnawing exhibitions and a very often fresh take on what contemporary art ought to look like.

Frequent exhibitors at important art fairs all over the world, Deli Gallery’s intro to CDMX likely came with Material Art Fair. They’ve exhibited frequently over the past several years.

Hours: Tuesday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
