5. Loreto - San Ildefonso Walking Tour

The Loreto - San Ildefonso Walking Tour is one of the "Heart of Mexico" self-guided walking tours through the north of Mexico City's Historic Center. Participants visit some of the most important colonial era sites in the old city, and come away with a much deeper understanding of the city's deep past.

The walk can be completed in about an hour, but visiting inside some of the sites below makes the experience that much richer. See the footnotes in each of the entries below for the official texts accompanying the tour.
