Zona Rosa

Mexico City's Zona Rosa has long been the center of the City's LGBTQ community. It's also the center of the Korean community and it's a big hub in the City's antiques trade.

It's technically the middle section of the colonia Juárez. (We put East Colonia Juárez here.) The most important section of the Paseo de la Reforma forms the Zona's northern edge. That's how many international visitors end up here.

For the weekend markets, for the ongoing nightlife and street scenes, it's an important part of the city's cultural life. The Zona Rosa is home to a good share of galleries, restaurants, and boutiques. But truth be told, young people have come here for decades just for the vibe.
