UNAM Museums are a big part of Mexico City's cultural scene. The Autonomous National University of Mexico is the leading university in the country.
The university's outreach, in the form of Museums and Cultural Centers across the city make it that much more important.
While many of the museums are on the University City (CU) campus, many more are not. Many of them are embedded in, and important parts of, the neighborhoods that host them.
