The parade begins at the Puerta de Leones in Chapultepec Park. It then proceeds along Paseo de la Reforma until proceeding eastward on the Avenida Hidalgo. It then makes its way to the Zócalo in the center of the City.

The entire spectacle will last about 4.5 hours.

Arriving at the Zócalo, the parade's "Grand Closing" includes fireworks, a drone light show and a concert by Ángela Aguilar.

The landmarks along the way (listed below) are simply to help international visitors to orient themselves.

  • Those attending are reminded to maintain social distances between parties, and to use hand gel when frequent handwashing is not possible. Hygenic facemasks are recommended.
