Southeast

The Southeast of Mexico City includes three important and historically significant alcaldias. These are:

They're among the oldest and longest continually inhabited parts of Mexico City. They're also world-famous for the traditional styles and products of the agriculture still pursued here.

Today international visitors take part in an increasing number of agri-tourist and eco-tourism acitivities. Study and learning about the milpa-cornfield system lining the world-famous canals soon gives way to the terrific natural landscape in Milpa Alta.

National parks are never far away. But so too are the many traditional small towns and villages for which the region is famous too.
