La GAM Public Markets are all those in the broader Gustavo A. Madero alcaldía. Already known for its lively shopping districts, it's a tremendous historical and cultural area, too. Dozens of neighborhoods meet the mountainous extinct volcanoes of the Sierra de Guadalupe. Lives have been lived entirely within these many streets. And in the shadow of just such mountains.
There's no better place to catch a glimpse of such lives than in the many public markets that feed the entirety of this part of the city. They're terrific places to eat too.
Warm, welcoming, and affordable, some of the best markets are within La GAM's thriving original settlements. But no matter where you are in the north, there's a public market nearby and lots that's good to eat.
