Performing Arts

Mexico City's Performing Arts Venues include theaters, community stages, festival stages and places large and small. From historical center city theaters to the new and ultra modern stages beneath cavernous ceilings, the performing arts have never soared higher.

Audiences take to performances of dance, musical concerts, cinema screenings and of course, some events take place within the city's public plazas and parks.

Mexico City also plays host to frequent theatrical and dance festivals, fairs, and annual events. Many vie for international audiences, and some have become annual events that draw crowds year after year.
