Indios Verdes Cablebús

Indios Verdes Station Entrance

Indios Verdes Station LogoThe Indios Verdes Cablebús station is usually met at the pedestrian bridge entrance just off the Indios Verdes Metro station bus loading area. (It’s pictured above.) Just head south and west from the Metro station platforms. The southernmost exit from the station is J.

The station is technically around the corner on the Calzada Ticomán. Arriving from the metro, it’s best to use the entrance above. People arriving are usually watching the cable cars coming and going, rather than the street outside anyway.

The Cablebús station here, rather than adding to a crush of commuters, has enlivened the area. Just across the street from this station is the Mercado Indios Verdes. It’s a terrific spot for lunch before or after a trip up the lift. In fact, the market too has been in continuous improvement.

For international visitors, please be aware of the Rush Hours. These are between 7 a.m. and 1o a.m., and again between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. It’s best to plan your trip to avoid these hours.

Nevertheless, there’s a lot to see. The entire Indios Verdes area is seeing re-invigorated street life. Trips from the Indios Verdes Cablebús station can be more than just goggling out the windows. Frankly that’s fun too. But from any of the subsequent stations, there’s a lot to see and experience. You may just discover something you never thought Mexico City could be.

Service Hours: Monday through Friday: 5 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Saturdays: 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Sundays: 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.
