Korean Pavilion Seniors’ Garden

The Jardín de Adultos Mayores offers a unique alternative for recreation, entertainment and leisure designed exclusively for senior citizens.

Inaugurated in September 1986 and named in honor of its founder Euquerio Guerrero, the garden covers an area of 36,000 m². Its Sculpture Garden, home to 32 sculptures and 3 busts of renowned artists, stands out. It also has an indoor lake, the Andrés Henestrosa Library, workshop areas and classrooms.

The Korean Pavilion, located inside the Garden, is a replica of the 8th century pagoda where Korea’s independence was signed. This pavilion was a gift from the Korean government to the Mexican people, symbolizing the friendship between both nations during the 1968 Olympic Games. It was assembled completely inside the Chapultepec Forest and access is exclusive for users of the Garden.
