Hermanos Rodríguez Race Track

Located within the Magdalena Mixhuca Sports City, the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez is one of Mexico City’s most emblematic venues for automobile races, concerts, and massive festivals. Inaugurated in 1959 and named in honor of Mexican drivers Ricardo and Pedro Rodríguez, it has hosted international events of great relevance and, thanks to its spaciousness, can be adapted to very diverse configurations for outdoor shows.

The circuit has a long main straight, pit zone, high-speed curves, and large open areas that, during festivals and concerts, are transformed through stages, lighting towers, giant screens, and temporary structures specially designed for each production. Its extension allows it to host multiple stages and activation zones without compromising public circulation.

During large-format events, the venue receives tens of thousands of attendees, so pedestrian routes are usually extensive and require considerable travel between the different areas. Because most activities take place outdoors, it is recommended to wear comfortable clothing and footwear, sun protection for daytime events, and an additional garment for nights or cool weather seasons.

The food and beverage offer varies according to the event, but generally includes temporary modules and food trucks with a wide variety of gastronomic options and beverages distributed in different parts of the venue. Likewise, organizers implement security filters at the entrances and apply specific policies regarding permitted and restricted objects, which can be consulted beforehand for each event.

At the end of highly attended shows, it is common for the exit to be carried out in a staggered manner towards the pedestrian accesses and nearby public transport stations, so it is recommended to consider additional time for the return.

How to get there?: The Velódromo, Ciudad Deportiva, and Puebla stations (Metro Line 9) position you near the different perimeter accesses. The UPIICSA and El Rodeo Metrobús (Line 2) bring you closer to Gates 14 and 15.
