Places for Kids in Mexico City? Kids seem to have boundless energy. But ask them to haul across a few neighborhoods, the way grownup travelers do, and you'll find you're tugging a cranky bunch of complainers.

Fortunately, Mexico City's forever youthful population means the city is teeming with possibilities. Kids love the hundreds of parks. There are playgrounds and kids' areas in just about all of them. And few parents will hesitate when it comes to the great outdoors.

Kids innately understand the point to just riding the Metro or the Xochimilco Light Rail. Did we mention the Cablebús? While you may not want to walk around a lot once you get there, kids always understand that getting there was half the fun.

Below is a good selection of other places. Some are places just for kids and accompanying adults. Others are open to everyone and have a variety of attractions for people of all ages. There's a lot of fun no matter who you're taking along, so what are you waiting for?
