Indios Verdes Area

The Indios Verdes area has been known to generations of Mexico City residents. The end of the Metro in the north, it's a major transfer station to points in northeastern Mexico state and Hidalgo.

But Indios Verdes is historically part of the Tepeyac-centered communities surrounding the lower Sierra de Guadalupe. Among these are not just Zacatenco, but Tola, and Atzacoalco too. In short, the towns that preceded the present-day Basilica de Guadalupe.

Mexico City's Cablebús Line 1 will only increase daily traffic through the Indios Verdes area. Check out the sites below to get a much better idea of how much there is to see and do in the area.
