Access to Yu Yu is through a discreet entrance that leads directly to the basement of a building of historical value in the Juárez neighborhood. The club has small dimensions, with vaulted ceilings of exposed brick and concrete that give it a raw, clean, and industrial aesthetic. The maximum capacity of the room is controlled not to exceed 150 attendees, ensuring an environment focused on the music.

The interior design is completely subordinate to the sound system. Yu Yu features high-fidelity speakers calibrated specifically for the basement’s acoustics, projecting techno, microhouse, minimal, and avant-garde electronic rhythms with high definition in the low frequencies. DJs, which include national talent and independent foreign selectors, operate at floor level in front of the small dance floor.

Management imposes a strict code of conduct to preserve the place’s atmosphere. The use of mobile phones or cameras with flash on the dance floor is prohibited, a mandatory measure to protect attendees’ privacy and maintain the darkness of the sound journey. The venue promotes a safe, harassment-free space for the electronic community.

The back bar has a direct and clean selection of liquors. Agave spirits—especially small-batch mezcals—gins, and botanical options dominate orders. Drinks are prepared directly, avoiding the slowness of complex cocktails so as not to generate crowds at the counter. Prices correspond to the standard of specialized clubs.

Access in most cases requires purchasing tickets in advance through digital platforms, as the reduced capacity sells out quickly on weekends. There are no reserved zones, VIP areas, or table bottle service, leveling the experience for all attendees who go down the stairs with the goal of listening and dancing.
