Foro del Tejedor

Inserted into the fabric of the Roma Norte neighborhood, this space takes advantage of the cultural infrastructure of the Cafebrería El Péndulo. The forum is located on the upper floor of the branch, offering an auditorium-style room of an intimate format. Its architecture features cinema-style cushioned seats arranged on a slope toward a low stage, as well as tables on an upper floor with a view of the stage and the characteristic atmosphere of a bookstore.

The musical profile is careful, frequently interspersing contemporary jazz projects, world music ensembles, string quartets, independent acoustic singer-songwriters, and folklore. The design of the space is conceived for attentive listening, allowing the voice and instruments to resonate in a defined way and without distractions from the environment.

The audience is reflective and attends with the intention of listening to a concert from beginning to end. The interior atmosphere is unhurried and interruptions seek to be minimal during the artists’ presentations, respecting the silences between pieces. The clothing style is usually urban and comfortable.

Inside the seating hall, there is no heavy restaurant service. Attendees can enter with drinks prepared at the lower cafebrería bar. Consumption focuses on coffees, infusions, glasses of wine, and bottled beers, occasionally accompanied by fine bakery items that can be consumed in the seat.

Entry to the forum requires the purchase of tickets, available on the establishment’s official website or at the bookstore registers. Performances usually have a strict start time, closing the doors of the room once the artist takes the stage.
