Due to the lack of space in the dense Historic Center, its designers chose to stack the facilities in an immense multi-story building, defying the conventions of traditional sports design.

Recently, the building underwent unprecedented structural and interior rehabilitation to guarantee its safety and modernize its offering. Following these works, the Guelatao recovered its architectural splendor, consolidating itself as an avant-garde space for the promotion of physical culture among the inhabitants of the Cuauhtémoc borough.

Visitors and athletes can find everything from a semi-Olympic pool and basketball courts on the lower floors to martial arts dojos, boxing rings, and suspended baseball batting cages on the upper floors, maximizing every square meter of the property.
