This space in the Roma Norte neighborhood combines the format of an Asian-influenced restaurant and bar on its first floor with an electronic dance floor on its upper levels. The interior design incorporates fixed red light illumination, neon signs, private karaoke rooms with screens, and a delimited dance floor on the second floor, surrounded by bars and high top tables.
The dance floor focuses on sessions by local DJs mixing disco, funk, vocal house, and mid-tempo electronic rhythms. The sound system allows an enveloping volume that invites group movement, but the architectural layout makes it easy to retreat a few meters from the wooden floor towards the side resting areas to be able to converse without needing to yell.
The usual crowd consists of groups of friends, local residents of the Roma-Condesa corridor, and creative professionals. The dynamic of the place allows booking a karaoke room in advance to sing in a group during the early hours of the night and later go up to the open dance floor to dance until the establishment closes, without changing buildings.
The beverage bar offers cocktails infused with Japanese tea, sake, Asian liquors, and traditional commercial spirits. The restaurant area on the ground floor dispatches simple dishes like meat baos, yakitori skewers, and edamame snacks, facilitating food consumption during breaks from social dancing.
Prior reservation is necessary if you wish to secure one of the private karaoke rooms or a table on the upper level on weekends. Entry to the general dance floor area implies a payment at the entrance door. It is an option for those looking to dine, sing, and dance within the same nightlife location.
