Hermanos de la Hoja

Hermanos de la Hoja’s history began in 1946, when it was a small shop in the Lagunilla flea market. It later became the bookshop it is now when it moved to Mexico’s City downtown, a street known as “the one with the antique bookshops”. It was founded by four brothers, Fermín, Leonardo, Juan and Mercurio López Casillas, hence the name (Hermanos de la Hoja, “Brothers of the page”). This bookshop is one of the biggest of its kind.
